As a long time pet lover this is a special piece of jewelry for me as a designer. My puppy Chance is the inspiration of this pendant. My little Shar pei baby came many miles in a plane by himself to be a part of my life and heart. We took a Chance on each other! The collection is named "Take a Chance on Me" and represents the chance both pets and people take when becoming a part of each other's life.
A portion of each sale will go to Animal Rescue for those that still need to have a baby less fortunate have someone Take A Chance on Them!
Pendants are by special order and only require a favorite picture of your pet. It doesn't matter if you have a dog, cat, horse, or bunny a good picture will keep your beloved pet close to your heart in this fabulous pet lover's pendant.
Carvings are done in shell and bezel set in silver in a shadow box style blackened silver frame surrounded by turquoise, spiny oyster, and black onyx. The lovely Sterling Silver leaves give the illusion of a heart with wings.
Each Pendant has Chance's Paw Print Hallmark & name on the back as well as your pet's name as well.
The pendant measures 3/2" from top to bottom (including bail) and 3" at the widest point.
Pendant is shown on a Schaef Designs adjustable 5-strand jet & sterling silver necklace that measures 22" in length including the sterling silver chain extender. The bail (with onyx hearts) is large and easily accomodates multi strand necklaces.
