Remarkable Susan Cummings sterling silver African Endangered Species Animal Charm necklace. This is such a gorgeous necklace. I've carried Susan's incredible jewelry since the 1980's when this necklace was being sold in Neiman Marcus. The details on the lovely animal charms is amazing as you can see from the pictures. Each of the 7 animals: a giraffe, zebra, lion, gorilla, elephant, hippopotamus, & rhinocerous are relatively light weight due to a special process used by Susan Cummings when making these substantial charms. Each measures approximately 1 1/2 inches. Charms hang on a heavy sterling silver chain and has a large easy to use lobster clasp closure. Susan Cumming's hallmark tag is on the necklace.
Necklace measures 18 1/2 inches from end to end including the lobster clasp closure.
