This necklace has been 7 years in the making. Incredible carved turquoise critters: 1 lizard, 2 butterflies, 2 turtles, and 2 frogs are the cast of characters in this amazing necklace. The turquoise in each animal is loaded with matrix of espresso, copper, caramel and black against blue and green turquoise.
Each of the 7 pendants is handwrought in Old Santa Fe Style handstamped sterling silver frames and each animal is set in a raised silver bezel. Then each pendant is adorned with silver beading or twisted rope, shot and rosettes. No detail has been spared for these adorable animals that call the Southwest their home. Each animal pendant is securely attached to the heavy sterling silver chain necklace and closed with a hammered silver large hook and eye. Necklace can be adjusted so it is perfect for each neckline you pair it with. Necklace is finished with the Schaef Designs tag and each pendant is artist signed and hallmarked.
